Foreign minister holds meetings with Algerian authorities
Luanda - The Angolan Foreign minister, Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, will be received in audience on Wednesday by the President of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
According to a press note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after the audience which will take place in the El Moradia Palace in Algiers, minister Georges Chikoti should hold official talks with Minister of State of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramtane Lamamra.
The Angolan diplomat still also meets with the Prime Minister of Argelia, Abdelmalek Sellal.
Georges Chikoti should also hold a working meeting on Thursday with the chairperson of the Joint Committee Algeria -ANGOLA, who is also the Minister of Energy, and Mining, Youcefi Yousfi.
The head of the Angolan diplomacy is in the Republic of Algeria since last Friday, where he attended the celebrations of 40 years of establishment of the Arab Sarawi Democratic Republic (SADR)) which took place Saturday in the desert region of Tindouf.
Angola and Algeria have diplomatic relations that date back to 40 years ago.
