Angola: Bengo - Industrial Association Invites Entrepreneurs to Invest in Agriculture
The chairman of the Angolan Industrial Association (AIA), José Severino, invited on Sunday in Panguila, Dande municipality, northern Bengo province, the domestic and foreign businessmen to invest more in the agricultural sector in order to diversify the economy.
Speaking to the press at the sidelines of the 5th edition of Banana, José Severino explained that "we are inviting national groups of trade, industry and other sectors to invest in agriculture, but it is necessary to speed up the land granting process and find funding mechanisms".
According to him, the event is an attractive business market, income generation, exchange of experiences and partnerships.
José Severino suggests that there must be flexibility and responsibility on the part of lenders so that banks may have return, thus enabling the companies remain operational.
