Angola/Gabon: Diplomat backs strengthened economic relations
( 03/29/16)

Luanda - The strengthening of cooperation relations in the economic, trade and tourism field between Angola and Gabon should be a priority at regional and organisations levels the two countries integrate, said Tuesday the Gabonese ambassador to Angola, Guy Blaise Wezet.

The diplomat was speaking to the press at the end of a courtesy meeting with the Speaker of National Assembly (AN), Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

Guy Blaise Wezet said that the meeting focused mainly on the strengthening of Parliamentary cooperation.

On the strengthening of economic cooperation, the diplomat admitted that such issue will be addressed at Angola/Gabon economic joint commission in coming days to review the various signed agreements.

On the other hand, he praised the relations of friendship and cooperation between Angola and Gabon, describing them as excellent.

The two countries’ friendship ties date back from the beginning of the national liberation struggles aimed at achieving freedom and sovereignty of the peoples.
