Angola: Guinean Parliament Seeks Angola Experience
The speaker of the People Assembly of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, Cipriano Cassamá, who is in the country on a four-day official visit, wants to exchange experiences in the parliamentary domain, in the framework of friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
Speaking to the press at the end of a meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, the Guinean parliamentarian stressed that the intention is to exchange experiences in terms of parliamentary reform, promulgation of the Constitution and the work of specialized commissions.
On the other hand, he said that Angola is a big power in Africa and World thus there is an intention to exchanging experience not only in parliamentary level but also in other domains, aiming to contribute to Guinea Bissau development.
He referred in this context that his country has the support of Angola for the development of cooperation relations at the level of parliament and government, under the plans that unite them since the dawn of liberation struggles.
It is part of the work agenda of the Guinean delegation, a meeting with the leaders of the Parliamentary groups and secretaries-general, official talks between the delegations, visit the new premises of the National Assembly and the AP-CPLP headquarters.
