Algeria: Al-Thani - We Very Much Rely On Algeria's Major Role in Solving Libyan Crisis
Libya is very much relying on the major role of Algeria in resolving the crisis shaking it, Libyan Prime Minister Abdallah al-Thani said Tuesday.
In a statement to the press after his arrival in Houari-Boumediene international airport, al-Thani wished that Algeria and its leadership will play a "more significant" role in closing the ranks of the Libyan people and resolving the crisis in this country.
In this regard, Al-Thani underlined the importance of Algeria's role for reconciliation in his country.
About his visit to Algeria, he said that it aimed for reinforcing the relations of bilateral cooperation, underlining the "strong" historical relationships between the two countries.
The Libyan PM started Tuesday a two-day visit to Algeria, part of the political consultations between the two countries.
