Relations Between Mozambique, Angola Armed Forces Considered Excellent
The relations between the armed forces of Angola and Mozambique, FAA and FADM respectively, are excellent with cooperating backdating to the early days of the liberation struggle.
This was said Monday in Luanda by the Defence attaché of the Mozambican Embassy in Luanda, brig. Pedro Banguini.
"The relations of cooperation and friendship between Mozambique and Angola are excellent. We enjoy ties that backdate to the early days of the liberation struggle," he stressed.
Speaking on the occasion of the FADM day, September 25, Pedro Banguini said Angola and Mozambique continue strengthening the relations and reinforcing cooperation in this domain.
According to him, reinforcement of relations is meant to keep peace and defend sovereignty and territory integrity of the countries.
FADM were created on 25 September 1964 by the first and late Mozambican President, Samora Machel.
