Algeria to support vocational trainingin in Niger
Algeria committed Wednesday to supporting vocational education and training in Niger with after both countries inked a cooperation agreement between the two countries.
The minuteswas signed byMinister of vocational training, Noureddine Bedoui and his Nigerian counterpart, Chaibou Dan Inna.
In his speechafter the signing of the final minutes, the Nigerian Minister stressed that this agreement with Algeria will enable Niger "to face the crucial need in the field of vocational training."
"This agreement will enable the training of Nigerian trainers in Algeria, as well as twinning between educational institutions of both countries," he added.
The minister ofvocational training, Noureddine Bedoui announced the establishment of a permanent advisory committee to supervise the area of vocational training in Niger.
"Algeria will ensure the training and development of Nigerian trainers in the field of educational engineering, mainly broadcasting, auto mechanics and graphic arts and printing industry," he affirmed, adding that Algeria will host in the first half of 2015 a group of 15 Nigerians to undergo training in Algeria.
The two sides willalso exchange experience in the fields of traditional crafts of the two countries through twinning between various vocational training institutions.
