Angola/Nigeria: Palancas Negras Play Nigeria for Friendly Match
The Angolan national senior men's football team are playing a friendly match this Wednesday against Nigeria in Pretoria (South Africa), in preparation for Home-based Players Africa Cup of Nations (CHAN2016), to take place in Rwanda from 16 January to 7 February.
The game is set for 4 p.m at the University Stadium and is the first of the four friendly matches to be held in South African territory, according to a statement from the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) that reached Angop.
Since 30 December in the pre-competitive training programme, Palancas Negras will also play friendly matches on 9, 10 and 12 January against Mali, Zambia and Guinea Conakry, respectively.
The national team is technically managed by José Kilamba and André Makanga, who are replacing Coach Romeu Filemon.
Angola integrates group B, together with Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Cameroon.
