The National Commission for Democracy (NCD) has on Monday 4th March 2013 presented its annual reports for the years-2010,2011 and 2012 to President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma at State House. Investigations about the rehabilitation of 21 kilometres of roads in Koidu City reveal that the work has stalled due to the connivance of several top people and institutions, and if urgent action is not taken by the authorities, nothing of substance will be there to show at the end of 2013. Contracts awarded in the country at the same time as the Koidu City Roads have been completed satisfactorily, such as in Bo, Magburaka and Makeni.
