Sudan’s Al-Bashair visits Saudi Arabia on gulf crisis
Sudan's president Omer Al-Bashair is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia on Monday to support efforts to resolve the recent crisis in the gulf countries, a top government official said Monday.
Abrahem Ghandour, the Sudanese foreign minister, told reporters that the president’s visit will last for three days to support the Ameer of Kuwait, Sabah Ahmed Al-Gaber, to settle the gulf countries crisis.
Ghandor added that Al_Bashair will meet with the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to seek a solutions for the recent crisis.
This is the first visit for the President Bashair to Rayad since the crisis started in the area .
Meanwhile a Sudanese newspaper quoted a diplomatic source saying the two leaders will discuss the roll that Saudi Arabia played to lift the American sanctions on Sudan, and participation of Sudanese army forces in Yemen against the AlHouseyh rebels.
