Algeria has expressed Friday solidarity with the families of two Tunisian journalists kidnapped in Libya and with the Tunisian government, wishing their return safe and sound to their families.
"We are following in Algeria with great concern the information from Libya on Tunisian kidnapped journalists, namely Sofiène Chourabi and Nadhir Ktari," Spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif told APS.
"We sympathize with the press corporation in Tunisia and Libya, and we express our solidarity with the families of journalists and with the Tunisian government," said the Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, adding "we still hope Sofiène and Nadhir will come back safe and sound to their families."
"In these circumstances, we strongly reiterate Algeria's condemnation of kidnapping, whatever are their authors and their motives," the same source added.
