Defence Minister Attends Angola-Zambia Meeting
Angolan Defence minister João Lourenço is participating in the 29th Meeting of the Angola-Zambia Joint Permanent Commission of Defence and Security in Livingstone, Zambia.
According to a note from the Angolan National Defence Ministry, the event is part of the bilateral meetings on defence and security between both states.
ANGOP has learnt that this occasion will also be used for analysis of the recommendations from the previous gathering, held last year in Luanda, and making a prospect of the bilateral interest actions in the domains of defence, public and state security.
The Angolan delegation comprises the admiral Gaspar Santos Rufino, who is secretary of State for National Defence Policy, José Bamóquina Zau, secretary of State for Prison Services, general and senior officers of the Angolan Armed Forces and National Police.
